Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to work in our office. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing chairside assistance to our dentists, taking and processing x-rays, and preparing treatment rooms. You will also be responsible for managing supply and inventory levels, as well as partnering with our providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
Responsibilities- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide variety of procedures
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
- Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Manage supply and inventory levels
- Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
- 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act)
- Regular HIPAA training and ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards
