Medical Response Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at International SOS Government Medical Services. As a member of our medical response team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality medical care to individuals in need.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting nurses and paramedics with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect clinical care to patients. With the support of paramedics and clinical staff, the EMT will utilize their expertise in evidenced-based medical practice to manage unexpected and emergent situations and to mitigate and treat a variety of injuries and illnesses in a prompt and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid and medical assistance within the EMT scope of practice.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the nature and extent of patients' condition.
  • Assessment and documentation of the patient's vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, and prescribed medications.
  • Maintain inventory by checking stock and determining sufficient levels; anticipating needed supplies.
  • Crosstrain to work within the clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units.
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
