Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide essential speech and language services in a school setting in the Brewton, Alabama area.

Job Summary

This position offers a supportive and collaborative environment where you can work with students and contribute to their academic success. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect services to students, working closely with teachers and other education professionals to ensure seamless support.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct services to students, including speech therapy sessions and language development activities.
  • Provide indirect services, such as developing and implementing IEPs, creating educational materials, and communicating with parents and teachers.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support students with speech and language difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • An active or pending state SLPA license.
  • Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with IEP exposure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
