Role Summary:The Customer Service and Ramp Operations Specialist is tasked with both guest-facing and operational responsibilities that include engaging with travelers and executing ramp activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist travelers with their needs (e.g., responding to inquiries, managing baggage, ticketing, checking in passengers, and facilitating boarding) in a high-energy environment.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions while executing ramp duties (e.g., transporting baggage and cargo, loading and unloading luggage, marshaling aircraft, pushing back aircraft, and performing de-icing procedures).
- Conduct aircraft cleaning and security inspections.
- Manage boarding and gate responsibilities (e.g., assisting and guiding guests, making announcements, processing standby and upgrade requests).
- Handle and secure guest luggage, maintaining records for claims related to damaged, delayed, or lost items.
- Utilize conveyor belts for loading and unloading luggage and cargo.
- As directed by management, undertake a variety of tasks to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills:Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Capability to learn and utilize a computerized reservation system.
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to participate in paid training that may involve overnight travel.
- Depending on the work location, ability to obtain necessary certifications.
- Ability to secure airport security clearance.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or community service.
