Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and care to residents in a residential setting
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote resident independence and self-sufficiency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
