Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Manager to lead our Neuro/CVICU team at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing activities, workflow, and nursing resources to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care services.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s).
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s).
  • Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s).
  • Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
  • Ensure a high level of associate, patient, and physician satisfaction.
  • Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development, and evaluating of staff.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Required professional licensure/certification and 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of one year charge experience in ICU setting preferred.
