Job Title: Electrical HW Test Engineer with Medical Device

At Sparktek, we are seeking an experienced Electrical HW Test Engineer with a strong background in medical device development to join our Product Development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and debug mixed signal PCA in embedded battery operating systems.
  • Perform signal integrity tests on common high-speed digital interfaces (e.g. I2C, SPI, UART, QSPI, USB, SWD, etc) using a logic analyzer.
  • Deep dive into schematics, datasheets, and layouts for debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Perform power estimation and thermal analysis on a board level.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform system-level tests and evaluations.
  • Document test procedures, results, and issues.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Class 2 or Class 3 medical device development experience.
  • Understanding of global regulatory requirements for medical devices.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification or experience.
  • Experience in the field of Medical Devices product design (e.g. CT, MR, X-Ray, Mammography systems).
  • Exposure to International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards (e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE).
