Princeton University is seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to join our team. As a key member of our research administration team, you will play a critical role in supporting the pre-award and post-award management of sponsored research projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the proposal submission process for Physics faculty, students, and research staff, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to federal and non-federal agencies.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, budget justifications, and other proposal-related documents, ensuring compliance with university and sponsor policies.
  • Coordinate with principal investigators and research staff to ensure accurate and complete proposal submissions.
  • Monitor and manage grant budgets, ensuring compliance with sponsor regulations and university policies.
  • Assist with the preparation of grant reports, progress reports, and other required documents.
  • Collaborate with the Graduate Administrator to assign chartstrings for graduate students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Grants Manager, Manager of Grants and Financial Operations, Department Manager, and/or Chair.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related experience in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with principles of accounting, federal Uniform Guidance, and related sponsored research statutes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
