Job Description

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Senior Automotive Technician to join our team in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance on our fleet of light and medium duty trucks.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex engine and transmission issues.
  • Inspect and repair hydraulic brake systems.
  • Assist higher-grade maintenance specialists as needed.
  • Represent Ryder System to establish relationships with customers.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work orders and repair notes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years or more of combination of classroom training and work experience.
  • Non-Commercial Driver License CLASS E, preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test and previous employer's for the past 3 years, DOT physical, Ryder road test, pass a Ryder background check and motor vehicle check including Drug and Alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
