Mechanical Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to join our team at Worldwide Recruitment Services - EOC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and direction of project teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage, evaluate, and train field project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
  • Project Planning: Plan, organize, and direct the production of contracted scope of work, ensuring that all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades to ensure excellent customer service and resolve any conflicts that may arise.
  • Production Coordination: Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule.
Requirements:
  • OSHA 30 Certification: OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Field Supervision Experience: Skilled field supervisor with at least 10 years of experience managing crews and running multimillion-dollar construction projects.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing license.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficient knowledge of the National Building Code, local codes, and construction safety requirements. Basic computer and writing skills.
