Protecnium is a global consulting firm that excels in engineering and technical services. We are currently in search of a Senior BIM & CAD Drafter to contribute to a significant construction initiative.
Position Duration: 48 months
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Role Summary:
- Assists in the drafting aspects of the project.
- Engages in quantity takeoff processes.
- Facilitates all engineering tasks to achieve the company's design and construction objectives.
- Collaborates with the team to ensure project delivery aligns with time, budget, and technical standards, focusing on safety, health, environment, and quality.
- Provides technical assistance during construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and updates design models for project layouts.
- Contributes to drafting efforts.
- Participates in quantity takeoff tasks.
- Supports construction phases during execution.
- Identifies technical risks and aids in the creation of risk assessments.
- Involves in reviewing project budget forecasts, supplying necessary technical insights.
- Establishes and enforces design management strategies and technical protocols.
- Assists in the execution phase, addressing nonconformities and coordinating with designers.
- Collaborates with technical and other departments.
- Ensures accurate transmission of design information across the project team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in BIM and CAD drafting.
- Strong technical, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Proficient in leadership and interpersonal relations.
- Adept at problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Drafting Technician background.
- Preferred experience in construction.
- Minimum of 8 years in engineering-related roles.
- Familiarity with Microstation is advantageous.
- Experience with REVIT is beneficial.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
