About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Monitor productivity of the team and provide coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote a culture of honesty and integrity.
  • Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and promote safety awareness and a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills.
