Compensation:
$85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop products including machinery, instruments, controls, or robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with production teams and engineers to optimize manufacturing processes, increase productivity, and enhance safety measures.
  • Plan and oversee projects while effectively engaging with stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and familiarize with manufacturing equipment.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce both preliminary and detailed schematics of machines, controls, and processes.
  • Employ systematic and analytical approaches to problem-solving, ensuring decisions are safe, functional, cost-effective, and validated.
  • Support automation initiatives through engineering process design during development and installation phases, including training and documentation.
  • Create models and prototypes of products and conduct design testing.
  • Analyze test data and draw comparisons with similar designs.
  • Develop control systems and monitor production efficiency.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
  • Redesign existing products to improve functionality or reduce costs.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proficient knowledge in mechanical design, including tooling for machinery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional mechanical and technical skills.
  • Experienced with computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with systematic engineering design processes to fulfill requirements.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience is preferred.
