Job Title: Boulder F&B Host/Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Boulder F&B Host/Cashier to join our team at Golden Entertainment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, escorting them to their tables and ensuring a smooth seating experience.
  • Answer telephone calls and process payments for checks, adhering to company cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Ensure accuracy of contracted monies and maintain a secure bank at all times.
  • Be familiar with all menu items and specials, and provide recommendations to guests.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolving complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Be familiar with all hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.
  • Answer the telephone courteously and efficiently, and inspect the restaurant and entrance area to ensure all standards are met.
  • Inspect tables and stations to ensure set-ups meet departmental standards, and communicate VIP arrivals and special requests to designated personnel.
  • Extend courteous departing remarks to guests, inviting them to return.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize, work with minimal supervision, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum 1 year F&B Cashier experience preferred.
  • Employees must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Compute quickly and accurately basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers).
  • Ability to use computers and calculators.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying at least 75% of the time.
  • Walking or standing up to 100% of the time.
  • Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity 75% of the time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
