Advanced Healthcare Provider Wanted for Community Based Outpatient Clinic

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at STGi's Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Lancaster, California. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care services under the direction of our Primary Care Provider.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an APRN/PA in outpatient care, preferably in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. They must possess current and unrestricted DEA License, state license, and Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary and preventive medical care to meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of patients within their scope of practice.
- Work closely with the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and extended support staff, including daily huddles, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain universal precautions and infection control practices, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and assist during respiratory and cardiac arrest procedures.
- Investigate health problems or health needs by gathering and assessing historical information, and perform physical examinations appropriate to the patient's history.
- Diagnose health problems based on interpretation of the patient's history, physical exam findings, and diagnostic test results, and develop treatment plans tailored to the patient's needs.
- Master's Degree in Nursing with completion of a university-based program for Nurse Practitioner, or Bachelor's degree from a PA training program certified by the CAHEA, or equivalent qualifications.
- Certification from the American Nurses Association (ANA) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), depending on the candidate's background.
- Current and unrestricted state license, and prescriptive authority in accordance with state rules and regulations.
- Ability to set realistic, measurable education goals for patients, taking into consideration patient/family needs, level of understanding, and available local resources.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and excellent computer maneuverability.
