Advanced Care Provider

VCU Health seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to fill the role of Advanced Care Provider - Non-Rotating Position. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical and surgical care to patients in the outpatient setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and surgical care to patients in the outpatient setting
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, adhering to HIPAA standards and confidentiality regulations
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Virginia licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification as appropriate for the role
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support certifications
- ACLS certifications may be required depending on the unit assignment
- Experience working in an academic healthcare system is preferred
