We are seeking a highly motivated Research Medication Specialist to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System (PHHS). In this role, you will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate recordkeeping, shipping, ordering, receiving, storage, retention/destruction, and related inventory activities in compliance with good clinical practices.

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Research Pharmacist, you will provide consultation to investigators and research staff, as well as educate and communicate effectively with patients on study medication(s) to ensure they are informed of proper investigational drug usage and potential side effects.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as knowledge of drugs, procedures, equipment, common disease states, and patient care monitoring within assigned care areas.
