Argo Cyber Systems is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Incident Manager to support our critical customer mission. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving cyber-attacks, providing immediate support to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Correlate incident data to identify trends and patterns in reported incidents
  • Recommend defense in depth principles and practices to enhance security
  • Perform computer network defense incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact
  • Research and compile known resolution steps or workarounds to mitigate potential incidents
  • Apply cybersecurity concepts to detect and defend against intrusions into IT networks
  • Monitor external data sources to maintain currency of threat conditions and identify potential security issues
  • Identify the cause of an incident and recognize key elements to ask external entities
  • Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • DHS Suitability
  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
  • Knowledge of NIST and FISMA standards
  • Knowledge of the NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of different operational threat environments
  • Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities
Education:
  • BS in Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity, or related degree
  • HS Diploma with 10+ years of incident management or cybersecurity experience
Certifications:
  • GCIH, GCFA, GISP, GCED, CCFP, or CISSP
