Position Summary:

The Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute at Carle Health is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Student Fellow to support the development of a clinically relevant and innovative research environment. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative and data support to our stakeholders, including CI MED students and Carle clinician faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the SFCRI team, including data management and coordination of research projects.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies to facilitate successful research projects with CI MED students and Carle stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the IIRS team to ensure compliance with Carle IT policies and procedures.
  • Support the alignment of research protocols with Carle Research Institute policies and the Investigator-Initiated Research Services' processes.
  • Perform other research support duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or currently enrolled in an MD or PhD program.
  • Experience working with clinical data, including data mining, data management, and machine learning in a healthcare environment.
  • Programming skills in SQL, R, or Python.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and its relevance in clinical research.
