Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the City's business objectives
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices
- Design and implement compensation programs that promote internal equity and external competitiveness
- Collaborate with City management to ensure compensation systems are responsive to stakeholder needs
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal systems, execution, budget, and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field
- Seven years of directly related professional experience in Human Resources or a closely related field, with at least three years in a managerial capacity
- Proven leadership experience with a track record for building strong, efficient, and effective teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field
- Comprehensive compensation program management experience, including strategic expertise in base and incentive compensation design, administration, and implementation
