About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and develop effective treatment plans
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state of North Dakota
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
