Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHI St Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a current North Dakota license and at least two years of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a Hospital setting. You will be expected to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current North Dakota license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a Hospital setting.
  • Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications.
  • 2 current Clinical References.
  • Physical and mental abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
