We are seeking an exceptional Systems Engineering Test Lead to join our team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Dulles, VA.

About the Role

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing methodologies to test, verify, and validate system requirements. Your primary focus will be on driving the test effort while also leading or assisting in other systems engineering activities throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Support technical execution in accordance with Northrop Grumman Systems Engineering processes and best practices.
  • Develop test and verification strategies that minimize program cost and technical risk.
  • Define test and verification methods, events, and constraints for all requirements; develop and manage the overall Program Test Plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A B.S. in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related area with 12 years of experience, or M.S. in STEM or related area with 10 years of experience.
  • US Citizenship with current or active Top Secret/SCI Clearance at time of application.
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in system architecture, CONOPs development, model-based system engineering, or experience working on spacecraft ground and mission systems is highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $247,600, plus a discretionary bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
