Salary
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $133,000 and $199,600 per year. This compensation package reflects the scope and responsibilities of the role, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Job Description
This Lead Systems Engineering role is responsible for leading the space segment technical team. The successful candidate will oversee systems analysis and trades, coordinate space segment engineering activities, manage engineering baselines, and develop solutions to complex problems that may arise during the program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and optimizing space vehicle design, processing, and mission success.
  • Troubleshooting and developing solutions to complex problems.
  • Developing and authoring major program data products and other deliverables.
  • Technical management of program elements.
  • Conducting technical reviews and writing status and technical performance reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at the time of application. They should also have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field with 8 years of experience in a related engineering field, or a Master's degree and 6 years of applicable experience. Extensive technical experience in systems engineering and integration of complex systems is essential, including previous technical or project leadership positions.
