Store Operations Manager

Michaels Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to fill the role of Store Operations Manager. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales floor management, cash handling, and inventory control.

We estimate that this role will pay around $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and comparable roles in the area. Of course, your actual compensation package may vary depending on your qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of sales associates and cashiers to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize shrinkage and optimize stockroom efficiency
- Assist with cash handling and reconciliation procedures
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement action plans to improve customer satisfaction and sales growth
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience; visual merchandising experience a plus
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
