Job Summary

Schneider is seeking a skilled CDL-A driver to join our intermodal team. As a Regional Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 100% no-touch freight that is 75% drop-and-hook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis
  • Drive in and out of railyards within 350 miles of Fairmont City, IL
  • Participate in a 24/7/365 operational and maintenance support system
Benefits
  • Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving
  • Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year
  • Paid orientation
  • 6 days of holiday pay per year after 6 months of service
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred
  • Live within 40 miles of Fairmont City, IL
  • Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
