Job Overview

Amity Foundation is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Overnight Monitor (Eternal Vigilance) at our residential campuses. This position involves supervising students during quiet and sleeping hours, making bed checks, and documenting incidents as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during quiet and sleeping hours, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Make regular bed checks and document incidents as required.
  • Assume supervision responsibilities in the absence of faculty, maintaining a high level of alertness and attention to detail.
  • Notify designated faculty of problems and/or incidents, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Complete required forms for faculty intention meetings, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to assigned students, serving as a positive role model and advisor.
  • Prevent, intervene, and report student altercations and incidents, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Administer First Aid and CPR during emergencies, adhering to American Red Cross protocols.
  • Conduct emergency evacuation procedures, ensuring the safety of students and staff.
  • Assist in maintaining facility grounds and equipment, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Responsible for Critical Incidents and Incident reporting, providing accurate and timely documentation.
  • Upload clinical supportive documentation, including motivation logs and intention forms.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Flexibility to work various overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Minimal knowledge of contemporary substance abuse treatment practices in a residential setting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressure.
