Job Summary:

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef and Culinary Director to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents and patients. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative culinary programs, menus, and recipes that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement culinary programs, menus, and recipes that meet the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to ensure seamless execution of culinary operations
  • Collaborate with registered dietitians and supply chain department to ensure compliance with dietary standards and procurement practices
  • Participate in new business sales surveys, proforma development, and presentations to drive business growth
  • Develop and implement menus and merchandising standards to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Train, monitor, evaluate, and act on unit performance in all culinary areas
  • Serve as a liaison to supply chain, operations, and merchandising and marketing groups to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Responsible for research and intervention in support of supply chain planning and pricing to improve performance and satisfaction
  • Lead the design process of all internal recipes and menu prototype development
  • Monitor market trends and identify appropriate target markets
  • Guide product and service offering through the product life cycle
  • Innovate new product and program development to drive business growth and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary leadership roles
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful culinary programs and menus
  • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
