Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organization adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Remain informed about updates in ABA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Perform comprehensive investigations into suspected fraud or ethical breaches.
  • Work alongside consultants to enhance and develop compliance programs.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all compliance-related activities and investigations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, law, business, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certification as a Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or equivalent credential.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, with a strong preference for experience in the ABA sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ABA regulations, HIPAA, and fraud prevention measures.
  • Strong ethical principles and the ability to cultivate a culture of compliance.
