The successful candidate will be a proficient Compliance Officer tasked with guaranteeing that the organization meets all pertinent federal, state, and local laws. This role will lead our compliance strategies while fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the organization adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA.
- Remain informed about updates in ABA regulations and industry best practices.
- Perform comprehensive investigations into suspected fraud or ethical breaches.
- Work alongside consultants to enhance and develop compliance programs.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all compliance-related activities and investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, law, business, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Certification as a Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or equivalent credential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, with a strong preference for experience in the ABA sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of ABA regulations, HIPAA, and fraud prevention measures.
- Strong ethical principles and the ability to cultivate a culture of compliance.
