Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and improving existing assembly processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and evaluate new processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality
  • Identify equipment and tooling problems and develop countermeasures to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with Production Team Leaders and other plant personnel to implement Lean Manufacturing projects
  • Develop robust manufacturing processes to produce products in the most efficient way possible
  • Work closely with the Product Engineering Department on major design changes and new product development
  • Coordinate technical activities with suppliers to introduce new purchased components and improve existing components
  • Review quotes for manufacturing feasibility and make design recommendations
  • Work with Product Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to implement internal product improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage the change process at the manufacturing level and have an active role in Lean Manufacturing activities
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and evaluate their use to improve products and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required
  • CNC programming experience required
  • Experience working as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer preferred
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Tooling development and improvement experience
  • Experience working in an ISO environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, assembly processes, and related technologies
