Responsibilities- Provide nursing procedures according to agency policy and procedures.
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and monitor patient reactions and progress using observation, assessment, and evaluation skills.
- Educate patients and family members on disease processes, medications, treatment options, and home care procedures according to the plan of care.
- Report adverse findings to the physician and RN.
- Comply with Medicare and Medicaid regulations, as well as HIPAA and infection control policies.
- Document skilled visits according to Medicare guidelines and maintain patient electronic records according to policy and procedures.
- Participate in in-services, workshops, seminars, and self-study courses annually to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 1 year prior nursing experience.
- Driver's License and Reliable Transportation.
- Current Automobile Insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
- Competitive hourly rate of $35-$40/hour, depending on experience.
