Job Description
At Quiescence Care Homes By RNS, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer medications to patients, monitoring for side effects and reactions, and implementing assistive medical devices and related treatments as needed.
  • Record patient vital signs and medical information, facilitating medical diagnostic and clinical tests as ordered by the Physician/NP.
  • Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions, modifying treatment plans as indicated.
  • Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Conform to rules as set forth in the Employee Handbook and ongoing changes thereof.

Requirements:
  • Pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN).
  • Current state licensure as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse and BLS certification required (American Heart Association BLS/CPR).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians/nurse practitioners/physician assistants, other staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to work with EHR.
  • Professional, friendly attitude.

Details:
36 hours per work week (12 hour shift), AM Shift.
