About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Advancement Division at Columbia College. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Summary

This role involves a range of administrative tasks, including gift processing, communication, and special projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of computer software and systems, particularly Microsoft Office and Blackbaud CRM.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the Advancement Division, including booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other needs.
  • Reserve rooms for recurring meetings and register staff members for events.
  • Assist with budget management, reconciling batches and preparing deposits.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years experience in an office setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and database systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
