Position Overview

The Registered Nurse in the Hematology/Oncology Clinic plays a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing various oncology treatments. This position involves both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring that all services are aligned with the highest standards of patient advocacy and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care Coordination: The RN Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of patients and their families, developing comprehensive care plans, and implementing effective nursing interventions.
  • Communication: Acts as a crucial communication link between patients, their families, and the healthcare team, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged in the care process.
  • Advocacy: Continuously advocates for patients and their families, focusing on delivering a customer service-oriented experience throughout their treatment journey.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. New graduates with relevant experience may be considered.
  • Certifications: Current BLS certification is mandatory, with OCN certification preferred.
  • Schedule: The position involves a 4x work schedule from Monday to Friday with variable days off.
