Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to children and adolescents, with a focus on preventive and restorative dentistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including routine cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address a range of dental health issues, from simple to complex.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry and incorporate best practices into your work.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric dentistry, with a focus on preventive and restorative care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry and incorporate best practices into your work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification in pediatric dentistry.
  • Experience working in a pediatric dental clinic or hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of dental public health principles and practices.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including Spanish.
