Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to children and adolescents, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other treatments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique dental needs of children and adolescents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry and incorporate them into your practice.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on proper oral hygiene and dental care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice dentistry in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification in pediatric dentistry.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Knowledge of pediatric dental care and treatment options.
