Seeking Surgical Pathologist Expert for Flushing Hospital

The Department of Pathology at Flushing Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled AP/CP or AP only Board certified MD, MD/PhD, or DO Physician to join our team as a full-time surgical pathologist.

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a progressive, proactive medical staff that values exemplary physician performance, including responsibilities such as:

  • Surgical pathology and cytology diagnostic sign-out
  • Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consultation
  • High-level expertise in Breast pathology and/or Breast fellowship training strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic sign-out of Non-GYN and PAP smears
  • FNA adequacy evaluation
  • Providing expert opinion on frozen sections

Required Qualifications

  • M.D/DO degree and New York medical license
  • Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or AP only with subspecialty breast fellowship training highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Package: $260,000 per year
