Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a contract assignment in a healthcare facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans to improve respiratory health.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement in patient care.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification.
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
