Dialysis Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our team at Grand River Medical Group. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with chronic renal failure who are undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments
- Administer IV medications and IV nutrition
- Draw lab work and identify patient problems associated with chronic renal failure
- Document each treatment, including patient assessment and condition of access, vital signs, and patient discharge summary
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum one year of professional nursing experience, preferably in medical/surgical, hospital, chronic illness, critical care, or community health
- Licensed RN with an active license to practice in the state of Iowa and Wisconsin
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
