Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment
  • Monitor hospitalized pets and maintain inventory
  • Prepare prescriptions and perform routine in-house laboratory work
  • Educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures
  • Assist with surgical procedures and prepare patients for surgery
  • Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams
  • Assist other team members in maintaining a clean and organized practice environment
Requirements
  • Previous veterinary experience preferred
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS office applications
  • Ability to work on weekends as required
