Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Provide direct instruction and assessment in small group and individual settings, utilizing data-driven instruction and educational frameworks to ensure delivery of standards-driven instruction.
  • Substitute Support: Provide substitute support as needed, ensuring continuity of instruction and student learning.
  • Assessment and Grading: Complete assessments, grading, planning, and conferences within established timelines, utilizing oversight from the Curriculum Director, Special Education Director, and other professional staff as needed.
  • Program Planning and Management: Contribute to the organization's mission and reflect the priorities of the school, assisting in the planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation of special projects.
  • Human Resources Planning and Management: Establish a positive, healthy, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including FERPA, FAPE, Section 504, and Special Education.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior successful experience in a similar setting is preferred, with a commitment to quality programs and production.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people, and a passion for education and student success.
