Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure quality standards are met across our regional facilities.
The successful candidate will coordinate and implement strategies to further improve our competitiveness through continuous improvement processes using lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
Key responsibilities include leading key projects to lower cost per unit, optimize production efficiencies, and equipment utilization. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet safety, quality, cost, and production goals.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field and 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, continuous improvement, or related roles. A strong background in chemicals batch process is required.
Requirements
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements, safety improvements, and achieving cost savings in manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools.
- PE, PMP, CMfgE, or other relevant certifications a plus.
