Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist and coordinate with legal oversight of the firm's registered investment companies, oversee closing documentation, and work closely with business units to identify and address legal and regulatory issues. They will also update policies and procedures as needed, prepare required documentation, and maintain internal records.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a lawyer within a law firm and/or in-house legal department with practice focused on the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related areas of federal securities laws
- Experience handling private investment fund formation and structuring
- Knowledge of and experience using MS Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
