About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our esteemed client's HR team in Louisville, KY. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills to begin a career in HR.
As an Administrative Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing vital support to the HR department by managing employee inquiries, onboarding processes, and maintaining accurate employee records. You'll also collaborate with the HR team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is strongly preferred, although prior HR experience is not necessary. We encourage applicants who are eager to learn and grow in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee communications effectively, responding promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls regarding policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for HR-related concerns and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Support onboarding activities, including preparing new hire documentation, scheduling orientations, and ensuring a seamless transition for new employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in Workday, adhering to strict compliance and confidentiality guidelines.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee files, tracking HR metrics, and generating reports as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements within the HR team, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
Compensation and Benefits:
- We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $20.00 to $21.50, reflecting industry standards and our commitment to valuing our team members' skills and experience.
