About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at Kootenai Health. As an EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in operating specialized equipment to measure and record electrical activity of the brain, peripheral nervous system, and spinal cord.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of a registered EEG Technologist to assist in the analysis and diagnosis of disorders in the brain and nervous system.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including assisting in the analysis and diagnosis of disorders, and reporting to supervisors or managers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrophysiology.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training.
  • Registry eligible in EEG by ABRET.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications related to position duties with a variety of software.
  • BLS required.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs, maintain a standing and/or sitting position, and move or traverse without accommodation.
