We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at Kootenai Health. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to measure and record electrical activity of the brain, peripheral nervous system, and spinal cord.
Key Responsibilities- Work under the supervision of a registered EEG Technologist to assist in the analysis and diagnosis of disorders in the brain and nervous system.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including operating equipment, analyzing data, and reporting to supervisors.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance and meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned.
- Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training.
- Registry eligible in EEG by ABRET.
- Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications related to position duties with a variety of software.
- BLS required.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position.
- Typical equipment used in a clinical job.
- Must be able to move or traverse without accommodation.
