Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Burger King. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a shift of Team Members and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service, sales, and profit results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a shift of Team Members and ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service, sales, and profit results.
  • Support the Senior Manager in managing the operations during assigned shifts, driving key performance outcomes related to sales, profitability, guest service, and people.
  • Operate under the direction of the Senior Manager and directly manage a shift of Team Members.
  • Mentor, up-coach, and provide feedback to Team Members to increase their capabilities and set an example of a Strength Based Leadership style.
  • Build an inclusive team culture by collaborating for solutions and ideas, and promote our Employer of Choice culture.
  • Set an example for Team Members by working hard to implement shift plans and drive operational results, while up-coaching.
  • Direct efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
  • Follow all cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and cash drawers.
  • Maintain inventory by performing daily and weekly inventory inspections, receiving inventory truck orders, and motivating Team Members during shift.
  • Review restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement and opportunities.
  • Ensure the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • We will train you to succeed.
  • Demonstrate understanding of guest service principles.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.
  • Desire to build leadership skills based on a strength-based leadership style.
