Job Title: Phlebotomist II

As a Phlebotomist II at Spectraforce Technologies, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing, including labeling and packaging.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including demographic data and specimen collection details.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple priorities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment; customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
