Job Summary

CarMax is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Detailer - Cosmetic Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our reconditioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cosmetic inspections to identify any defects or damage on vehicles
  • Perform various cosmetic reconditioning, cleaning, and repair processes to restore vehicles to their original condition
  • Complete final quality inspections to ensure that vehicles meet CarMax's high standards
  • Work closely with the reconditioning team to ensure that all vehicles are properly prepared for sale
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest reconditioning techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as automotive detailing or reconditioning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
