Responsible for the efficient running of Outgoing and Final inspection operations on 1st shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location. Job Location:Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world's number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts. What you will be doing:
Conduct detailed electrical, mechanical and physical examination on a variety of wet tantalum capacitors.
Setup and operate a variety of test and inspection equipment
Ensure finished product meets the requirements detailed in the appropriate Vishay Tansitor specification
Maintain final, outgoing, QA rejects, lot history and subassembly records in the QA database
Initiate rejection notice requiring MRB response on rejected product
Makes independent decisions with regard to flow of work
Filing and retention record
Perform other QA duties as required
What you will bring along:
High school graduate with 2 years experience in quality management
Must be able to interpret process and quality specifications
